Dear friend,
My name is Alberto, but you can call me Pancito. I’m a Spanish teacher — and I’m also gay.
Maybe you’re wondering: Why does that matter? Why mention it at all?
It matters because I want every single one of my students to feel safe, especially those from the LGTBIQH+ community. This is a space where you can speak freely, without fear, without judgment, and without prejudice.
So whether you’re straight, lesbian, queer, gay, trans, intersex — or any beautiful letter in our rainbow alphabet — you are welcome here, in Pancito’s Academy.
With a warm hug,
Alberto
Learning Spanish is like running a marathon: you walk, you run, you jog… but the most important thing is, you keep moving. It’s a beautiful journey — but it can be exhausting. Sometimes you’re not sure if you’re on the right path. You can’t see your progress, and you have no idea how far you still have to go.
My goal as a teacher is to turn that marathon into an obstacle course — but one with a clear structure and concrete goals, based on the way Spanish grammar naturally develops across levels.
I’ve taught at several universities, and I’m a certified DELE examiner (by the Instituto Cervantes) for all levels — A, B, C, and the school exams. I know exactly what you need to learn at each stage of your journey.
My mission is to help you move forward, step by step, with clarity, motivation, and a human touch.
Learning Spanish is an adventure — and I’ll be right there with you, with structure, empathy, good humor… and a clear path forward.

I have to confess something: I’m in love with Latin America.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel from Colombia to Mexico, from Costa Rica to Peru, from the Caribbean to the Pacific. I’m fascinated by the different varieties of Spanish — their accents, expressions, and unique ways of speaking. But language is also culture, and Latin American culture is endless: traditions and customs, fruits and food, music, literature, and history…
I love talking with my students about the richness of the New World. That’s why, beyond grammar and structure, I’ll guide you in discovering the diversity and beauty of Latin American Spanish.
That way, your learning will be more complete, more real… and much more exciting.
